SEND Clubs & Activities in West Sussex

Finding fun, welcoming and inclusive clubs and activities for children and young people with SEND can make a huge difference to families.

PACSO supports babies, toddlers, children and young adults aged 0–25 across Chichester, Arun and surrounding areas of West Sussex, providing a wide range of clubs, activities and opportunities to make friends, try new things and have fun.

Why Clubs & Activities Matter

For many children and young people with special educational needs and disabilities (SEND), accessing everyday clubs and activities isn't always straightforward. After school clubs, sports groups and social activities that their mainstream peers might take for granted can sometimes be difficult or impossible to attend due to medical, accessibility, communication or behavioural support needs.

These barriers can leave children and young people feeling isolated, with fewer opportunities to explore hobbies, develop friendships and enjoy experiences outside of school and home.

At PACSO, we believe every child deserves the opportunity to have fun, make friends and feel included, regardless of their additional needs. Our inclusive SEND clubs and activities in West Sussex provide safe, welcoming environments where children and young people can enjoy new experiences, build confidence and develop independence.

Our highly trained team has experience supporting a wide range of individual needs, including different communication styles, medical requirements such as administering medication and seizure management and behaviours that challenge. This specialist knowledge allows us to provide personalised support, helping children and young people feel safe, understood and encouraged to participate in activities that suit their interests and abilities.

For children and young people who might otherwise struggle to access hobbies, social groups or recreational activities, PACSO offers something incredibly valuable: a place to belong.

PACSO Clubs

PACSO runs a variety of clubs for children and young people aged 5–18 throughout the year. After-school clubs offer different activities during term time, while Saturday Clubs include everything from messy play and arts and crafts to sports and outdoor games. These clubs are designed to be fun, inclusive and suitable for a wide range of needs.

School Holiday Clubs & Activities

The school holidays are another great opportunity to get involved with PACSO.

Play Days and the Summer Playscheme offer full days of activities including sensory play, crafts, games, music workshops, entertainers and other special experiences.

Sessions take place during selected school holidays throughout the year, giving children and young people something exciting to look forward to.

Clubs & Activities for All Ages

PACSO provides support from the early years right through to adulthood.

Little PACSO offers relaxed groups for children aged 0–4 and their families, with sessions providing a welcoming space to play, socialise and meet other local families.

For young adults aged 19–25, PACSO Plus offers clubs and activities including youth groups, games nights, meals out, workshops and trips, helping young people build confidence, explore new interests and connect with others.

Family Clubs & Activities

PACSO also provides activities that the whole family can enjoy together.

These can include relaxed cinema screenings, activity days, trips and seasonal events, creating more opportunities for families to enjoy accessible experiences together.

Support for Parents and Carers

PACSO's clubs and activities aren't only about giving children and young people new experiences.

They can also provide valuable respite for parents and carers, whether that's time to spend with other family members, catch up on everyday life or simply have a well-earned break.

If you're looking for SEND clubs and activities in West Sussex, PACSO offers plenty of opportunities to get involved throughout the year.

Children and young people do not need a formal diagnosis or EHCP to join PACSO. Families can register before booking onto eligible clubs and activities.
