Volunteer Playworker

Join our team of Playworkers to support the PACSO children at a range of play and social events.

Hours available:

  • After School Clubs

  • Saturday Clubs

  • School Holiday Play Days

To become a Volunteer Playworker, you must be at least 15 years old.  We also require the following:

  • Application Form

  • Two Satisfactory references

  • A clear Enhanced DBS Check (if 16+)

​

​Whilst this is a voluntary position, we rely heavily on our team to deliver vital services to families, and therefore require volunteers to commit fully to the dates that they sign up to help.

We are looking for volunteers who...

  • Are fun, energetic, self motivated and have good interpersonal skills

  • Have experience with children and young people with a variety of needs

  • Understand the importance of safeguarding children and young people

  • Can work well in a team 

  • Have the resilience to work in a busy environment with behaviours that challenge
