Full Time Play Specialist
We have an exciting opportunity for someone to join our full time Play Team!
PACSO is a small charity that provides support to families who have a child with a disability or additional need, through the provision of a wide range of out of school clubs and activities.
PACSO Play specialists plan and provide a range of after school clubs each week, one to two Saturday clubs per month, and activities and trips during the school holidays. Applicants will need to be fun, energetic, self motivated and have good interpersonal skills. They will have experience with children and young people with a variety of needs and be able to work in a team and on a one-to-one basis as required. Some children may need help with personal care, including feeding and toileting. Applicants will also need to guide and support play workers and volunteers within their team.
PACSO are committed to safeguarding and promoting the welfare of children and young people and expect all staff and volunteers to share this commitment.
Successful applicants will be required to undertake an enhanced DBS check and provide a full career history and two satisfactory references prior to employment.
